The Algarve.

The Algarve is all about sunshine holidays and
relaxing breaks. From the golden beaches on the coast to
the inland villages, filled with all the history and
heritage of this wonderful region of Portugal.

for. The Algarve also has some of the world's most
famous golf courses, where players of all abilities can
find a challenge or if Tennis is your game, there are
some of the best facilities in the world available to
you.

Albufeira.
The tourist capital of the Algarve. If you want to
make the most of your holiday in the Algarve, then
Albufeira is a must see, with it’s golden beaches,
fantastic holiday resorts, golf courses, some great
restaurants and a lively nightlife.
The old town is the centre of activity in Albufeira,
from the town square to all the adjoining streets with a
huge range of restaurants, bars and shops to choose
from.
Albufeira is the town of the Algarve.

Golf Monte da Balaia is very well placed for access to the
Algarve’s many fine golf courses. Next door to Balaia
Golf Village which has it’s own 9 hole course and
driving range, within a 5 minute drive of Pine Cliffs
and within a 15 minute drive of the 5 courses at
Villamora on one side or Salgados on the other side.

Beaches
The nearest beach, Praia Marie Luisa (about 500
meters), is a Blue Flag beach as are the six adjacent
beaches which are all within a 10 to 20 minute walk.
Marie Luisa beach is a beautiful, safe stretch of fine
sand about 500 meters long, has it’s own beach
restaurant/bar, Life Guard in season and with sun
beds/shades available for hire. Watersports are also
catered for with boats and windsurfing equipment
available.

Shopping
Supermarket shopping is well catered for at Monte da
Balaia with shops on both sides of the complex a 5/10
minute walk away. Albufeira itself has a huge range of
shops from fashion to local craft shops. The Algarve
shopping centre is a 10 minute drive away and has 100 +
shops, restaurants and cinema. Across the road from the
Algarve shopping centre is the Algarve Retail Park, with
very large warehouse type retail outlets, including a
Nike factory outlet.

Attractions
Zoo Marine
is one of the
main attractions of the Algarve and is a fantastic day
out for all the family, adults and children alike, it
has Dolphin, Sea lion and seal shows two or three times
a day, other wildlife shows, fairground rides, a walk
through aquarium and a swimming pool area.Slide and Splash
is one of many waterparks in the
area and again has everything for a great day out. |
